Joe Cocker (second from right) held a press conference at the Delta County Fairgrounds in Hotchkiss on Friday, May 14. Joining him were Helen Highwater, Pam Cocker and Rick Stockton. Pam Cocker gave information on the Cocker Kids’ Foundation. Joe Cocker gave interviews to the regional print, radio and television media. All of this was to shine a bright spotlight on the Joe Cocker At Home Again concert July 6 at the fairgrounds. Helen Highwater and Rick Stockton, founding members of the Strolling Scones, will open the concert. Also performing that night will be the Otis Taylor Band. All proceeds benefit the non-profit Cocker Kids’ Foundation helping youth in the North Fork Valley. Pam Cocker selected the Scones to be on the bill with her husband. “I’ve got to have them. I’m a big fan. I think it will be a really fun way to start the show,” Pam said.
